Your guide to shopping Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale

This year I’m shopping the Nordstrom sale to stock up on some fall basics. To be completely honest, I typically don’t shop at Nordstrom because I can usually find similar pieces at a more reasonable price elsewhere (grad student budget is real). With that being said, I have found a few items I have been wanting for awhile, and this sale seems like the perfect time to splurge!

Free People Turtle Neck Sweater – Who doesn’t need another sweater?? This one is highly rated and a perfect fall staple.

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings – If I buy anything from the sale, it’s a pair of these leggings! I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. They are a must for fall!

Marc Fisher Black Chelsea Boot – I’ve been eyeing this pair of boots since last fall. A huge plus is that they can be worn with almost any fall or winter outfit.

Madewell Cardigan – Another fall piece where you can’t go wrong. Pair it with a black tee, gold necklace, jeans, and booties.

Free People Tee – Wear under a jean jacket with black leggings = perfect fall look.

Barefoot Dreams Blanket – Has anyone not heard of these blankets? I swear so many people recommend them. It is a pricey blanket, but the sale takes $60 off. Love the neutral leopard print.

BLANKNYC Jeans – Straight leg jeans perfectly paired with booties.

Steve Madden Tan Bootie – These booties were one of the best sellers from last year. This will by far be my most worn shoe this fall.

Nike Crew Neck – I have this crew neck in mint green which you can find here. I think the grey will pair perfectly with the bright red leggings.

Alo High Waist Leggings – This color is so fun & unique. I’ve found splurging on leggings is worth it.
